Honor has yet to reveal an exact launch date for the Magic8 series, but the lineup is confirmed to debut sometime between October and December this year. Meanwhile, live images of the base Magic8 in the Sky Blue Glaze edition have surfaced online.
The Magic8 series in the Sky Blue Glaze finish appears to have a unique pattern on the rear panel that becomes visible when light reflects off it.
At the front, the Magic8 seems to have a flat display with slim bezels. The images also show the new AI button and a flat metal frame. It features a circular rear camera module that appears to house three cameras.
Honor recently showcased the Magic8 Pro in a green color option as well. The Pro model also gets a dedicated AI button and a flat design.
The Honor Magic8 series will be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and will come with several new AI features including the YoYo assistant. The Pro variant will offer a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
